'Elevens' U-20: Eredivisie and Jupiler Pro League

'Elevens' U-20: Eredivisie and Jupiler Pro League

With one matchday remaining before the conclusion of some major European leagues, we are ready to release some data from one of our most interesting talent filtering features: 'Elevens'. This tool allows you to quickly find the best talents by position (1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 per position) through numerous filters such as minutes played, age, GBE, contract expiration, and many other criteria, saving an enormous amount of time in the filtering process. Thanks to our SCORE, which we have explained on previous occasions, combining numerous individual metrics, we can rank players according to their performance and start working on scouting players or comparing our impressions of players already seen on video with the data.

Eredivisie 23/24

One of the great advantages of this feature is that it allows us to choose how many players we want to extract per position. We have selected the best in each position and left other slots empty to avoid providing all the information the tool offers. Both for the Eredivisie and the Belgian Jupiler Pro League that we will see later, we have chosen a minimum filter of 700 minutes played to find players who have had some level of trust from their coach and have been part of the team's rotation. In the Eredivisie, we find well-known cases such as Jorrel Hato or Yankuba Minteh, players who far surpass all others in scoring, evidence that the model and the functionality work.

Who do we highlight?

Jacob Kreum, a right winger who plays on the left, 20 years old, who has accumulated over 1,500 minutes at Go Ahead Eagles, having previously stood out in the Danish league. A player with a physique yet to be developed but notable technical quality, very skilled in one-on-ones and with very unpredictable touches, with a very good turn and the ability to be very elusive. He is not a powerful or physically remarkable player, which could reduce his options in more physically demanding leagues.

Jupiler Pro League 23/24

Malick Fofana, Soumaula Coulibaly, Antonio Nusa, or Bilal-El Khanouss are already familiar faces and not so surprising among the under-20 players, as well as Gabriel Slonina, the American goalkeeper on loan from Chelsea.

Who do we highlight?

Therefore, we will leave many of the players that appear among the options hidden and recommend two players: Kyriani Sabbe, a 19-year-old right-back who has already had over 300 minutes in the Conference League, and Christ Makosso, a central defender from RWD Molenbeek, who has stood out physically and in important metrics for the center-back position, ranking among the best in the championship in his nearly 1,000 minutes played.
