After working with the Uruguayan Football Association during 2022, we recently announced the agreement that strengthened that trust and made Driblab the official technology partner of the AUF and its National Team, led by Diego Alonso, during the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

"Nowadays, data has a very relevant importance," comments Andres Paysee, member of the Technical Staff and Coordinator of Uruguay's Analysis Department. "It complements a lot of what we do in the video analysis area. The data provides support and backup, it helps us confirm the patterns we identify through the image and it is a very interesting complement to confirm based on what you saw of your own team and the opposing team and can even awaken you to some conclusion that through visualization you don't see so clearly."
"The addition of Driblab is very important for us, both because of the platform and the reports we get. We have a very extensive follow-up of Uruguayan players playing in the country and also those playing abroad, which allows us to have statistical follow-up. And now with the World Cup it allows us to detect patterns of the rivals, process the information and have it in order to interpret it and provide the coaching staff with game conclusions."
Marcelo Mayor, Uruguay National Team Analyst, reflects on the importance of advanced statistics and how Driblab helps in all decision-making processes: "For us, everything related to data is important. We use it to mix information with the video, and also with the match. In the post-match we use it a lot, we make a summary and we see the number of arrivals, set pieces, individual situations, we see different data that lead us to conclusions to discuss with the coaching staff. Driblab is very important for us because you have concise data and conclusions that help us a lot to make decisions in the post-match and pre-match, as well as the set pieces, which we use a lot."
