We have developed the functionalities and developments in the last three months.

Welcome to the Q4 2024 Driblab Release Notes! As we close out 2024, we are excited to share not only the addition of physical data to our product portfolio but also a host of new features and improvements designed to make your experience even better. These highlights updates that empower you to make smarter, faster decisions while streamlining your workflows.

Introducing Physical Data

Driblab is proud to announce the launch of our state-of-the-art physical data product, addressing the growing demand in the football world for detailed fitness metrics across multiple leagues. Traditionally, physical data such as distance covered, high-speed runs, and sprints has been limited to club-specific GPS systems or league-wide agreements. With Driblab’s advanced computer vision technology, we are now bringing high-quality, reliable physical metrics to a wider range of leagues, seamlessly complementing our industry-leading event data. This innovative solution measures key performance parameters including distance covered, maximum speed, number of sprints, and acceleration events, offering deep insights into player performance. Whether you’re assessing player workloads or comparing physical outputs, Driblab’s physical data gives you the clarity and depth you need to make smarter decisions.

How to use it?

When this product is included in your subscription, physical metrics are seamlessly integrated across various sections of the DriblabPRO platform. These metrics are available at league, team, and player levels, offering a comprehensive view of physical performance. At the team level, the Stats section includes a dedicated tab to explore detailed physical metrics. On a player level, there is a Physical Progression tab, where users can dive deeper into these metrics through interactive charts and graphs. Similarly, physical insights are also accessible within Player Insights at a league level, providing powerful tools for detailed analysis.

Value of Injured and Suspended Players Added to Widgets

We have introduced a new Team Value Impacted metric to the injured and suspended players widgets, offering insights into how unavailable players affect a team’s overall value. This includes the combined value of injured and suspended players, providing a clearer picture of the team’s strength during absences. Additionally, this metric is displayed as a tooltip within the Team Value header for quick reference.

How to use it?

Select a Team and navigate to the Injured and Suspended Players widget under the Overview tab. Here, you will see the Team Value Impacted metric calculated. Additionally, if you hover over the Team Value header, a tooltip displaying the same information will appear.

New Table View for All Shots in a Game

Analyzing finishing has never been more flexible. Previously limited to pitch and xG visualizations, you can now explore all shots from a game in a detailed table format within the Finishing Map. The table includes key information such as the player, passer, team, minute, type, area, body part, and xG, giving you a comprehensive view of every shot in one place.

How to use it?

Select a game of your choice, navigate to the Maps section, and open the Finishing Map view. In the display options, choose the new Table view to see the detailed breakdown of all shots.

Stats Tab in Player Header

We have added a new Stats tab to the player view, offering a game-by-game breakdown of performance in an easy-to-read table format. Each row represents a game, allowing you to analyze player contributions based on your chosen filters. Whether you are focusing on offensive metrics or defensive stats, you can now tailor the view to match your analysis needs. Additionally, filtering by season ensures you are looking at the most relevant data.

How to use it?

Navigate to a player’s profile and select the new Stats tab. Use the filtering options to choose between offensive or defensive metrics and refine your view by selecting a specific season. This streamlined layout puts all the data you need right at your fingertips.

Alerts in Top Header for HUB users

Stay updated effortlessly with the new Alerts feature for DriblabHUB users. An alert bell has been added to the top header, keeping you informed about key updates, such as changes to players within Favorites or Collections, and notifications about new tasks that are added, modified, shared, or assigned. A dedicated Alerts tab lets you view Player Alerts and Search Alerts, ensuring you never miss important developments.

How to use it?

To enable alerts, activate notifications in the Alerts tab within HUB. Once you have selected the types of alerts you wish to receive, you will get real-time updates via the alert bell in the top header, making it easier than ever to stay on top of your scouting and analysis workflows.

Filter Events in Video Highlights

Video Highlights now offer enhanced flexibility with three new tabs: Recap, Home Condensed Game, and Away Condensed Game. These views allow you to filter and focus on specific game segments, such as general highlights or possession-based highlights for each team, making your video analysis more targeted and efficient.

How to use it?

Go to Capture and select Video Highlights. Choose a game and, below the video, you will find new options to view not only the first half, second half, or full game but also Recap (general highlights), Home Condensed Game, or Away Condensed Game (team-specific possession highlights).

Share Capture Elements with Multiple Emails

Collaboration just got easier! Previously, Capture videos could only be shared with a single email. Now, you can share them with multiple recipients directly from the external sharing tab in DriblabPRO, streamlining communication and enhancing teamwork.

How to use it?

Go to Capture, select the video you want to share, tap on the Share icon, and select the External Sharing tab. Simply add multiple email addresses in the sharing field, and your selected recipients will gain access to the video instantly.
