Fortaleza Esporte Clube and Driblab sign partnership agreement.

Fortaleza Esporte Clube and Driblab have signed a partnership agreement to integrate advanced statistics in the search, recruitment and analysis processes of both the sports management and the scouting department through the extensive database and functionalities developed by Driblab.

With this agreement, Fortaleza Esporte Clube, a historic club from the Ceará region that this season participated in the Copa Libertadores 2022 after its great season in the Brasileirão 2021, reaching the round of 16, will have access to driblabPRO, the platform with more than 200.000 players and more than 180 competitions stored by Driblab, with which they will be able to deepen their performance analysis and find players in a fully automated and tailored way through multiple tools, alerts and applications, as well as its customised consulting services already enjoyed by many clubs around the world.

Relying on the support of companies that store and refine data to complete the analysis is an increasingly important decision for the growth and competitiveness of clubs. Football as an industry demands to be as prepared as possible to anticipate competitors, and big data allows the scouting department and sporting management to focus on their day-to-day work with all the information at their disposal, saving time and money in all processes.

For Alex Santiago, Vice President and Director of Football at Fortaleza Esporte Clube: "The agreement with Driblab is a continuation of a series of technological acquisitions that the club currently has, not only in terms of the physical performance of the athletes, but also in terms of intelligence related to the recruitment of players, performance analysis, the possibility for our coach to follow the game in real time during the matches. All of this always looking for technology to help us reduce the margin of error in the processes of the Football Department. Fortaleza is currently a club that tries to use its resources to minimise its margin of error, within its financial possibilities, and try to be more competitive without losing pace, without hiring badly and always looking for the best possible performance in its Intelligence Department."

Salvador Carmona, CEO of Driblab, valued the agreement with Fortaleza Esporte Clube: "There are several clubs in Brazil that trust us to be more competitive. Fortaleza is a club that is doing very well, playing Libertadores and reaching the qualifiers, a present that we want to contribute to help them in everything they need, looking for players and analysing their day-to-day performance".
